A few weeks ago Mandy Tanberg, with Bella Vie Real Estate in Woodland, California, gave us an update on her business:

“In 2008 I closed 29 transactions with an average commission of $8,000. My gross commissions were $233,500.

“I am on track to close 30 transactions in 2009. However, our busy season is just starting, and my guess is that I will probably close 30 to 35 transactions in 2009 and that my gross commission will be in the $260K to $275K range.”

Mandy isn’t talking about what her business was doing three or four years ago – she’s talking about last year and this year.

Imagine being on track to earn a gross commission this year “in the $260K to $275K range.” Pretty nice range!
