Joan and Neil McJannet, with The Mortgage Centre – Approved Mortgages in Kelowna, BC, Canada, recently sent this email to their Coach:

“Thanks for another great coaching call. It’s so good to have you to keep us on track. There’s just so much information available on the By Referral Only Web site and you always point us to something new.

“Thanks to By Referral Only, last year was our best year yet. In 2004 we did 90 transactions and made $188,000; in 2006 we did 120 transactions and made $283,000. Year-to-date we’re already up 11 percent over 2006. Last year we took seven separate trips out of province. This is truly amazing because before we joined By Referral Only, Neil was on call 24/7, and we never seemed to get away.

“On another topic, we want to share some exciting news with you. We were recently nominated by Canadian Mortgage Professional magazine for an award for ‘Best Customer Service For an Individual Office.’ They received over 6,000 nominations from across Canada for 12 categories.

“We didn’t win but we know that we are the ‘Best Customer Service’ office in Kelowna, BC (population 107,000). We owe it all to the By Referral Only coaching and strategies – thank you for getting us there.”

When we followed up with Joan and Neil about their success story, we had to wait – they were on a two-week vacation. When they returned Joan told us, “We had three days in Orlando, then a five-day Western Caribbean cruise, followed by three days in Miami. We saw a spring training baseball game and drove through the Everglades. It was great, the weather was perfect, and two wonderful friends from Winnipeg joined us there, so a good time was had by all!
