Fabulous First Month

“My wife, Fran, and I had been in the business for two years when we attended a By Referral Only Workshop and then The Main Event. Upon our return home (with some great ideas) I decided to call my client, Bob, and write him a Personal Acknowledgement Note. Bob’s loan was in limbo because of family issues, but after my call and note, his refi closed for a $3,100 commission.

“Grant was another client I had worked with who purchased a home in June. I made a follow-up call the way Joe Stumpf coached us, and discovered that Grant needed another refi and also wanted an equity loan on another property. That brought in $4,800. This time I asked for a referral – and got one. Grant is looking for more property investment opportunities now, and guess who his mortgage consultant is?

“Greg requested a free report from my website. By now, Fran and I had developed our How I Work packet and we mailed it to Greg and his wife in Mississippi. We did an Initial Consultation on the phone and they were very impressed with our process and the loan product we offered them, and gave us two referrals.

“Mr. and Mrs. Bill visited our website and that was followed with another Initial Consultation, using the How I Work packet and a good loan product. When that transaction closed it brought us $4,500.

“Did I mention that all this happened during our first month with By Referral Only?”

Walking our Talk

Terry Hunefeld At a recent monthly company meeting, President and CEO Terry Hunefeld led a presentation on the By Referral Only core values: Integrity, Fun, Passion, Communication, and Teamwork.

In brief, this means the entire By Referral Only family, under Terry’s leadership, is committed to taking ownership of results (and mistakes); displaying a positive attitude; enthusiastically acting with your benefit in mind; listening closely to others’ needs; and demonstrating support of our shared goals, vision, and purpose.
