A Luau That Gets “Lu-Wows!”
Leanna Scott, with Century 21 Alpha in Milpitas, California, is having fun – and generating referrals – with her After-Celebrations.
“I threw an all-out luau housewarming party for my clients Rebecca and Mitch. They’d relocated from New York and hadn’t brought any kitchen items with them, so I brought my whole kitchen to their house and prepared all the food. I bought all sorts of luau decorations – their yard looked splendid! “Mitch and Rebecca had told me how impressed they were with my services and all the touchpoints – that I was ‘head and shoulders above other agents’ – and they were especially thrilled with the luau. They referred Mitch’s best friend, Aaron. Aaron and his wife, Lisa, were quite far along in the planning process of putting a second story on their home. Mitch convinced them to put the renovation on hold because I could help them find the home they want, and avoid the extremely stressful endeavor of a large renovation.
“Aaron and Lisa are now working with me. They’ve completely cancelled the renovation project, and they’re going to buy their next home in the spring and list their home through me. The total gross sales will be about $3.2 million. This will be an exciting journey! I look forward to giving them same world-class service and value.”

Why Member Bob is Unhappy
A month ago, Bob registered for his upcoming Community Remodel Day. En route to the Community Remodel Day, he ran into some unexpected traffic and arrived about 15 minutes late. Can you imagine Bob’s dismay when he discovered there were no materials left, because 35 people showed up who hadn’t pre-registered?
Pre-registering for your Community Remodel Day ensures the correct amount of materials is shipped and available for all attendees. And it’s easy to register – just contact your Coach at 800-950-7325, ext. 4, or register on-line by clicking here, and we’ll see you in locations including Seattle, Washington; Sacramento, California; Arlington, Texas; and Scottsdale, Arizona.
Reminder: We invite you to bring one of your assistants to the Community Remodel Day at no charge – please register both you and your assistant.
Message Board Tip
The next time you log on to the Message Board on the By Referral Only website, use the Message Board search engine before you post a new message – it may save you time in waiting for a response if the information you need is already posted. Just click on the Search icon, located in the upper right of the Message Board home page. This takes you to a new screen where you can type in your query. A query of “Ugly Yellow Sign,” or “APS,” or “Top Producer” will net you a host of results. A query such as “Houston” will let you view relocation or referral opportunities in that area. You can even search for posts by a member. If you type “Welsh,” you’ll find all of Todd’s posts and replies. Give it a try the next time you’re on the website and get helpful information quickly from your By Referral Only colleagues.
