Thomas Doubled His Referrals and Income

Thomas Sepulveda, with Century 21 in Hillsboro, Oregon, knows how to make the end of the transaction – the beginning of a lifetime relationship:

Pamela Jensen "Our After-Celebration starts at the signing and I attend every one. I have the Lender there with a gift for the buyers, and the title company is there with a bottle of Martinelli's sparkling cider and some glasses for the celebration toast. For a gift I note the colors of the bathrooms so I can give them a nice set of towels and some smell-good candles in a basket with a card, thanking them for giving us the opportunity to serve them.

"Once they finish signing, we all get together and take a picture toasting their new adventure. That's the 'wow' moment that gives you the opportunity to ask for a referral. I'll say 'Would you like to sit down for a couple of minutes and brainstorm with me about who we can think of next?' And they'll say, 'You know, my sister's coming from out of town' or, 'Give me some business cards and I'll give them to my friends.'

When "PC" is Not Politically Correct

While "PC" may mean politically correct in your world, at By Referral Only it stands for Promotional Coordinators, an intrepid group who boldly goes where no one has gone before, and who often makes the first – and thus most important – impression on potential community members.

Long Explanation: About six weeks prior to every Main Event we host a series of By Referral Only free Half-Day Workshops for real estate professionals who live in that area. After receiving workshop information from us in the mail, PCs follow up with these Realtors and Lenders to assess their business needs and discuss how our systems and strategies will help them begin to achieve their goals. PCs enroll the Lenders and Realtors in the workshops, workshops introduce people to The Main Event, and The Main Event introduces attendees to membership in the By Referral Only Community.

Short Explanation: "PC" also stands for pretty critical.

From Super Star to Super Servant via MP3


The recorded version of the Strong Foundations TeleClass series is now available in both RealAudio and MP3.

The Strong Foundations TeleClass series begins two weeks after each Main Event and is offered not just to new members of the By Referral Only Community – but to anyone who wants to improve their quality of life. While we strongly encourage you to join this TeleClass live at 7am or noon Pacific Time, we realize that's not always possible. That's why we've recorded the series and made it available in the TeleClasses section on the website, in both RealAudio and now as an MP3 file available for downloading.
