The Dollars Have Increased – And So Have The Days Off!”
“When I experienced my first Main Event, I’d worked more than 500 consecutive
days. At first you wear it like a badge of courage, a badge of pride: ‘Yeah,
I worked 80 hours this week.’ But then I started realizing what I was doing,
and I hung my head in shame over working that many consecutive days.
“It was a painful time. Really painful.
“I joined the community, and the first thing I worked on with my Coach was
scheduling Recovery Time. I was tired of feeling angry because I was at work and
why wasn’t I at home, and when I was at home, I’d feel guilty because
I wasn’t working. I was miserable everywhere, all the time.
“My Coach helped me see it was acceptable and reasonable and healthy to take
Recovery Time, and that escalated into deciding that it’s really important
to take Recovery Time.
“I went from that 500+ consecutive days to taking 70 days off my first year
with By Referral Only, including a vacation.
“Of course, I was really nervous about losing money. I said okay, along with
the days off, I have to maintain or increase my business. I’m happy to tell
you that the dollars have increased – and so have the days off!”
